Art - Pixel Art

I've been making pixel art since around October 2023

I've tried "real drawing" a few times,
but I've never had the patience to get better

Until that date, enjoy this massive portfolio of (most) of my work!

I've been doing these little pixel art heads for about 6 months now
I started with Various Anime Characters (and a couple OC's)

The Najimi Sprite was the first one I did, it was made as a
potential artwork for r/place! It was never used,
but it's what got me started on the Pixel Art Path!

I've gradually transitioned into making Trains, mostly cause I really like trains,
but also I'm less likely to get into Copyright problems on Redbubble!

Man I really need to do more anime ones...

So around February 2024 I decided I was being
cheap and lazy making simple head designs, I needed do make "proper" pixel art

(My Imposter syndrome is pretty sus)

So I grabbed a Pintrest reference, and just... drew

It was my first time ever doing something like that, and I was amazed
at how good it was!

I've been improving slowly throughout 2024, I still need references,
but some of the latest ones use rough head guides as refs and
sometimes I dare to use no references!
(its a fun game of "Spot where Martin Can't draw!")

This area has kinda evolved into anything
Person-based thats more detailed that my Simple Portraits

I've gone back through some of the older ones and have updated the shading and Rendering
on those, for Practice and also for the sake of refining
the ones I like the most!

Just anything else I make thats not a person
